Support our campaign to found a mutual bank in Northern Ireland

The Northern Mutual campaign is made up of volunteers. It is nearing the end of the preparation stage which has involved registering as a legal entity, establishing the advisory committee and lobbying far and wide.

To progress the campaign to the pre-application stage (which involves producing an NI-specific financial study and initiating the licensing application), and to maintain our website, we need funding. We welcome contributions from members of the public and civic and public organisations.

Our campaign to establish a mutual, regional bank was launched in 2019 and is currently at the development stage. Northern Mutual is registered with the Financial Conduct Authority as a cooperative society under the name of Northern Mutual Ltd.
